I am a textile and graphic designer with experience working in both Japan and Sweden, now based in Sweden. Since my university years, Scandinavian design has captured my heart, and a dream of working as a textile designer in Scandinavia brought me all the way from Japan to Sweden.

In 2021, I began working at Almedahls AB, one of the oldest textile companies in Sweden, where I worked on a wide range of projects. I created textile collections for home interiors and designed and developed rugs and curtains for offices and public spaces.

After nearly five years at Almedahls, I felt a desire to follow my own path — to find my own way of making someone’s day a little happier through design, and to contribute my skills, experience, and cross-cultural background to projects that bridge Scandinavia and Japan. This is how I started working as a freelance designer and coordinator in the autumn of 2025.

I am especially drawn to projects that are kind to both people and the environment, and I hope my work can bring small moments of joy — particularly to those who need a little encouragement. I enjoy collaborating closely with clients and teams, and look forward to working on each unique project!
